The Original Boat Noodle SM North EDSA delivers a distinctive taste of Thailand right in the heart of Quezon City. Nestled on the ground floor of SM North EDSA Main Mall, this Asian restaurant offers an inviting ambiance reminiscent of a cozy boat house with a modern twist. Upon entering, guests are greeted by bright, colorful decor and an open noodle kitchen that brings an interactive charm to the dining experience.
As the name suggests, the highlight here is the noodle selection, an array of small bowls that let diners savor a variety of flavors and textures. Popular options like the Beef Pathumthani, known for its addictive sour and spicy kick, and the Pad Thai, offering a harmonious balance of sweet, sour, and spicy notes topped with crushed peanuts and chili flakes, are must-tries. For those craving something heartier, the Beef Kra Pow and Chicken Kra Pow bring fragrant Thai basil into play, paired effectively with steamed jasmine rice and crowned with a fried egg for a comforting finish.
The sides elevate the meal further: the Pork Legend, a flame-grilled, marinated pork neck served with a tangy Thai sauce, and the Pandan Wings, aromatic and crispy, deliver savory indulgence with every bite. The Thai Spring Rolls offer a delightful crispness, perfectly complemented by sweet chili sauce. Meanwhile, the Thai Milk Tea and Thai Coffee provide authentic beverage options that balance sweetness with refreshing undertones.
Customer feedback highlights a generally positive experience. Many appreciate the freshness and boldness of flavors, praising the noodle bowls for being served hot and fresh. The ambiance receives commendation for its unique and colorful setting, evoking pleasant Mediterranean and boat house vibes. However, some guests mention that dishes like Pad Thai can occasionally feel a bit dry, suggesting room for refinement to match authentic Thai street food's lusciousness.
While portions lean toward the smaller side—ideal for sharing multiple bowls—the reasonable prices allow food enthusiasts to sample a variety without breaking the bank. Those seeking rich and tender meats will enjoy the flame-grilled pork and chicken, though some wish for slightly larger servings. Service can be a hit-or-miss, with moments of attentive care blended with periods of slower response.
Overall, The Original Boat Noodle SM North EDSA is a solid destination for those wanting to indulge in Thai flavors within a lively, bright setting. The noodle concept here is perfect for adventurous eaters who enjoy mixing and matching dishes, and the mix of smoky, spicy, and aromatic notes promises a memorable dining journey whenever Thailand calls your name.

Loved the interiors especially the colorful displays. Food are a bit pricey for its size. • Pad Thai was okay lang. Tasted like it was reheated lang prior to serving kasi dry na yung noodles. • Thai Fried Chicken (6pcs per serving) was a bit salty but very tender. • Som Tam was very refreshing. Medyo off lang yung dried mangoes. Yummy but nakakabitin yung serving. • Thai Milk Tea and Thai Coffee were both okay lang din. Overall, it’s a good place to satisfy Thai cravings. Don’t expect too much lang to taste authentic flavors talaga.

This is my go to Thai restaurant in SM North EDSA whenever I miss Thailand. This is a hidden gem worth sharing to everyone. I love their food from appetizer to dessert. I just wish that they would make different varieties of Pad Thai: Chicken, Pork, Veggie and Shrimp. Another thing is I hope they would make their tasty bites bigger (Ayam Legend and Pork Legend). Ambiance is really great. It definitely has that busy bustling street of Bangkok vibe. With some Thai music.

39 peso noodles are superb. Youll need 10 bowls tho. But worth the price. Served hot and fresh. Ingredients are fresh. Taste is good. Will be back.

First time to dine in this resto. It was located inside the GF of SM North EDSA Main Mall. It is near the Panda Express and in front of the back entrance of Frankie's. The ambiance is nice. It gives off somewhat Mediterranean vibes. The entrance is open type and their main attraction was their open noodle kitchen. The tables and chairs match the theme of the resto - like a boat house. The crews are nice and very accommodating. They had a good selection of dishes. We ordered their Kra Pow Chicken, Pad Thai, Ayam Legend (So witty), and Mango Sticky Rice. We liked all the dishes we ordered. So flavorful and have the right hint of spice. We loved their Krap Pow Chicken and Ayam Legend. Overall we had a nice experience. Highly recommended.

The food may not have the authentic thai flavors but its good enough. We ordered all flavors of small bowl noodles. Each has its own flavor and a good start of a meal. We also got thai fried chicken and grilled chicken. Both are good and goes well with steamed rice. The mango sticky rice was just okay. I also tried the thai milk tea and I liked it because it's not too sweet and you can still taste the tea in it. Food prices were affordable and the service was great.

The noodles we bought, were Ayutthaya and Tomhakai, the servings were small that you could devour the noodles in one big bite. You would expect the noodles to be the main dish since it was in the restaurants name. Still, it was good, Ayuthaya had a unique sweet flavor that was maybe infused with lots of star anise, and Tomhakai had a somewhat similar taste to ramen. Rating it 7/10 Crunchy Popeye's Tempura was surprisingly nice. Spinach Tempura with an amazing sauce, it was a tangy coconut curry dip. The more I ate the more I liked it. Giving this a 9/10 Kra pow chicken was as said, intensely flavoured. Good thing it included an egg and a big portion of rice because you need those to douse the strong flavor of spices in the chicken. It was not my cup of tea so 6.5/10 Kaw pad super was like sea food fried rice it looked amazing but I did not like the fishy taste it had, maybe because of the crab sticks. 5/10 Drinks were good but nothing out of the ordinary 7.5/10 Overall, I was more impressed with the side dishes than the main dish I bought. Still, this restaurant has it's good and bad so I would still recommend this place. Overall rating of 7.5/10

The Pad Thai was tasty, with soft noodles and a nice mix of sweet and sour flavors. The shrimp was cooked just right. My friend said that the shrimp with coconut milk she ordered was creamy and a little spicy, really comforting. The milk tea was sweet and refreshing. A great Thai meal overall!

Overall a decent lunch experience. Their food was good, not sure if it’s authentic but no complaints, it was tasty. The price is reasonable but still mall prices for what you get. The service, however, could be better, no one came to take our order and the staff were difficult to call. The place itself is ok, it was roomy and comfortable enough. A decent dining experience but nothing special.
